Watch a Dirt Track Dwarf Car Become a Single Seat Stunt Plane – The Landing Sucks

We got tipped off to this video by BS reader OldSchoolCamaro who is a member in a dirt track racing club that competes with dwarf cars. As you’ll see, these little motorcycle engine powered bastards are blindingly fast and a true handful to drive. This video is in-car footage of either a start or re-start of a race at California’s Perris Speedway. As the field gets the green flag, everyone hammers on the gas down the straight and sets up for the first turn. Well, everyone but one guy.

You’ll see a rogue car that took a really tough line into the corner and gets tangled up with another racer. Instead of simply sliding harmlessly on the dirt, the dwarf car hooks an edge and launches into an impressive series of barrel rolls like a stunt plane. The difference of course is that the stunt plane tends to land with less violence and carnage, but you get the idea.

The driver was OK after the crash but we bet he was sore as all get out the next day. Adrenaline has a funny way of masking soft tissue damage until you sleep on it and then it feels as though you were attacked by a group of people with bats. Been there…felt that.

Press play to watch a dwarf dirt car impressively suck at flying!
