This place being South Georgia Motorsports Park, of course. Among the names is Dave Comstock in his awesome Goliath 2.0 Nova. During testing on Thursday Comstock came to the line in the car, hammered the gas and went into a sky high wheelie. It looked like it was about to be a catastrophic nightmare for Comstock but he managed to pedal the cat mid flight and actually set it down in a pretty gentle fashion.
This video captures the entire moment from the perfect angle. You see the car drive into the wheelie, you can see him make the pedal when the thing was starting to come down and while it landed with a slight thud, it was not the front end mashing nightmare it could have been.
While SGMP is known as the “home of the flying cars” it is also a place whee wheel stands happen with a frequency and ferocity that you’ll see virtually nowhere else. This place is crazy.
