CHEVY C10 MUSCLETRUCK '74 CHEVY C10
It’s virtually impossible to take a single vehicle and make it competitive in a number of different motorsports. Since we wanted to tackle that challenge anyway, we decided to make it one step tougher: We’d use a truck. Our plans for this stupidly anti-aero stepside include land speed racing, drag racing (on the asphalt and on the sand), open-road racing, and even some open-track handling events. If we succeed, then we may even reconfigure it for some off-road racing. It may not be the best choice overall, but that’s what will make it fun. Besides, we bought this one for $1,500, running and driving. That’s cheap for an American, rear-drive, V-8 platform, and we want to show everyone that muscletrucks are a great new frontier in hot rodding. Step one is coming with LS6 Gen III power, and the guys on our forums are helping to pick a good name for the truck.

The next step for the C10 is 5.13s and more on-track fun. But that needs to wait for me to find more shop space.

Sorry things didn't work out at CJTV . I loved the videos , you guys are a blast . But life goes on and I'm glad your still online . Any how I've got an 88 S10 that's going to be along the lines of the Muscletruck . When you put the Crewcab Chevelle on Airride I thought cool I've got to do that, and I have . Then came the Muscletruck . I'll be watching to see whats next . Now I've got to buy a Junkyard T-Shirt . Best of luck guys .

I've got an '80 C-10 so I'm really interested to see what you do with this one. As far as names for the thing go, personally I was going to paint mine silver and olive drab like a B-17, put on a picture of Bettie Page dressed up like the devil and call it Evil Betty. Not sure if I'm still going to go that direction or not, though.
