One thing they are not, however, are naturally pretty. That’s where Simon Davidson comes into play. Davidson, based out of Sydney, has the gift of turning the gritty and volatile world of Aussie burnout contests into some of the prettiest scenes you can imagine.

In addition to burnout contests, he has photographed drag racing, and land speed racing at Bonneville and Lake Gairdner in south Australia.

Davidson immerses himself in the “muscle car subculture” and his work captures the love he has for all things cars, as well as his love of the outdoors.
