It was a whirlwind weekend at the 2017 PRI show in Indianapolis. McTaggart and I tried to divide and conquer as best we could at the event and while it was a bunch of hustle, it was a bunch of fun too. I mean how can you not be having a perpetual good time in a building that is chock from wall to wall with race cars and race car parts. It is being hailed by newbies and veterans alike as the biggest and best PRI show in history. In fact, a guy I know who works for an unnamed manufacturer of big dollar machine equipment said that they took more orders at the 2017 show than in any other they have ever attended. People are spending cash and that’s a good thing for the industry.

This is a gallery of photos I blasted on the floor of the show. There’s not a real rhyme or reason to them, they are just as they fell out of the camera and they were shot in sequence as I walked around. From Geoff Turk’s record holding stock eliminator Challenger DragPak to sprint cars, one of those radical New York fight fighting ladder race truck things, a clear bodied dirt car, some cool parts, pulling equipment, and scads more stuff is all here.
