BangShifty Open House Action! Street Machinery Opened Its Doors And Hot Rodders Kicked ‘Em Down

(Words – Mike Brooks – Photos – Brooks, Jose Ferrer) –  For more than 24 years, Street Machinery in Euclid, Ohio has been in the custom and hot rod business. Owner Boris Maryanovsky started wrenching out of a landscapers shed, and from that he and his staff have grown to be one of the most respected shops on the business.

The now 25,000+ square foot facility is probably most well known for churning out some of the coolest patina’d cars, wagons, and trucks on the planet, but there’s way more to Street Machinery than just that. From full resto’s , brake and suspension upgrades, air ride conversions, LS swaps, or even just picking up a barn fresh project car, they have you covered with a reputation for outstanding work with the best parts available and an upfront, no nonsense approach to doing business. If you prefer do all your own wrenching, Street Machinery will sell you all the stuff you need to finish your project on your own.

With the shop, showroom, and yard busting at the seams with a constantly revolving inventory of parts and cars, Boris and the boys decided it was time for an intervention of sorts. The first annual “Down with the sickness- Inventory Intervention” and open house was held and the public was permitted to check out the facility and over 100 vehicles available for sale on the property. The place was madness! The place was ooozing with mostly GM classic cars and trucks in various conditions from “just rescued”, to fully restored, to full blown show cars and everything in between. This guy has a great eye for the good stuff.

I’ve never seen so many bubbletop Chevies in one place before. If he considers this a “sickness”, I for one hope he never gets well. Be sure to check out and follow Street Machinery on Facebook and Instagram to see their latest projects!
