aFe Launches New Site Where Users Can Build and Order Their Own Custom Air Filters

If you’ve ever been in the market for an air filter, exhaust, cold air intake, or throttle body spacer, among other things, you have certainly heard the name aFe. They’ve been around for a long time and have some really nice products. We got a note from Jason Bruce at aFe tipping us off to their new site where you can go and literally spec out your own custom air filter, which they will build for you and ship to your door. Why would you want to spec out a custom air filter? Well, if you are building your own cold air intake, maybe you are wanting to fit one directly to the inlet on the custom built turbo setup on your car and room is at a premium, perhaps no one makes a filter specific to your oddball application, there are a bunch of reasons really.

We have been playing around with the site and it is super easy to use. aFe provides clear instructions and diagrams as you are selecting various dimensions for the custom piece you are constructing. Hell, there are multiple different kinds of filtering media to choose from! Like the guys over at AutoMeter with their custom shop, this is an awesome way for aFe to meet the needs of potential customers they didn’t even know they had. To us, it makes great sense for anyone out there that like being creative and likes to fabricate. No longer do you have to work around the air filter when putting together yours own CAI plumbing, the air filter can work around your application!
