Lone Star Throwdown photos baby! We’ve got tons more to share this week and today’s batch is a mix of nothing but late model custom trucks of all kinds. Fords, Dodge, Toyota, Chevrolet, GMC, it’s all here. Lifted, lowered, bagged, bodied, solid axle swaps, and more, they range from the sublime to the ridiculous. One thing that never ceases to amaze me is folks willingness to cut up and modify brand new stuff. I’ve never been able to afford a new truck and then be able to spend another $20,000 lifting it to the moon or putting a completely new chassis under it so that it will sit on the ground. But boy I wish I did!
I’ve split up most of our photos into specific galleries for square bodies, OBS trucks, C10s, classics, cars and customs, etc, so that you can check out all the stuff you care about most. The Lone Star State was showing off their hospitality to the truck world this past weekend where Lone Star Throwdown took over Conroe Texas in a big way. I have to say, traffic was handled perfectly by Conroe police, and the promoters and facilities staff, and it was easy to get in and out without issues. And because of the layout, there is a great cruise circle going on all day long at the event with folks idling along and showing off suspension systems, audio and power. Walking around the show is great, but if you want to sit and chill you can do that as well and just watch the show cruise by. We had a great time walking the entire show and seeing nearly every truck on site.
