(Photos by Cole Reynolds) If you are in Southern California during early December, then the must attend show is the Mooneyes XMas Party Show and Drag at Irwindale. After the track closed early this year, and with reports that it would not reopen, people were afraid that the fate of the Mooneyes XMas Party show could be grim. Thankfully the track signed a new agreement, with a new management team, and 2018 has been full of events and races of all kinds. That also means the Mooneyes show was everything we expected. While we were at the PRI Show in Indy looking at all the newest race parts, Cole was in Irwindale taking photos of cool cars at the show. This is our first gallery of photos from the event, so take a look at all of them and then stay tuned for even more galleries throughout the week.

This is one of the coolest SoCal events all year. With food, drinks, bands, girls, clothes, lifestyle items, drag racing, cars, trucks, bikes, and more, this is one event you have to attend. We’ve been coming for years and this year was as good as ever. In fact, we’d say it might be the best in several years as the weather was amazing and the car count was huge.

With temps in the 70’s, and the sun shining, there was nothing but goodness going on. We walked the entire show, and have hundreds of photos to share with you from the show. So remember, this is just the first of the galleries we’ll have to show you.
