(Photos by Wes Allison) –  We have a bunch of photos to share with you from the 2018 NHRA Winternationals at Auto Club Raceway Pomona over the next few days. We’ll be splitting them up between the sportsman and professional categories for your viewing pleasure. This time we are back with pro class photos and loads of them are funny car and top fuel images.

The big stories coming into the race were Shawn Langdon’s debut in the nitro funny car category after transitioning from top fuel, Mike Neff taking over the crew chief duties on the Army top fuel car, and a load of other stuff. The racing was intense with Clay Millican resetting the national record and Brittany Force surviving one of the worst top fuel crashes of the last few years. The nitro was pumping, the speeds were big, and the action was something else.
