Here’s Who Is Going Into The NHRA 4-Wides At Las Vegas Sunday In The Top Spots

The inaugural 4-Wide Nationals at the Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway has been a huge hit and has had some pretty impressive performances on the absolutely brand new dragstrip. All four lanes have been built in the past several months, have great rubber on them, and are as smooth as can be. This is one impressive dragstrip. Here are the number one qualifying runs in Top Fuel, Funny Car, and Pro Stock as well as the K&N Horsepower Challenge winning run in Pro Stock.

Schumacher’s final qualifying pass sent him to the top of the category. This is his second No. 1 qualifier of the year and 86th of his career. He is in search of his first victory of the season.

Force secured her second No. 1 qualifier of the season during her fourth qualifying session. She looks to lock-in her second event win of the season and 10th of her career.

Anderson’s first qualifying pass of the event stood strong for all four sessions. He is searching for his first event Wally of the season during eliminations on Sunday.

Greg Anderson raced to victory in the K&N Horsepower Challenge on Saturday afternoon at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. He bested the defending world champion Bo Butner who red-lit in the final round of the Challenge to secure the $50,000 prize.

Four wide at the strip a ” huge hit ” you say ? There are a LOT of empty grandstand seats showing in that picture . It’s Las Vegas , a new race and they still can’t fill the stands .
