Finnegan And Newbern Try Not To Kill The Barn Find Pro Street Firebird Before Rocky Mountain Race Week 2.0

Finnegan And Newbern Try Not To Kill The Barn Find Pro Street Firebird Before Rocky Mountain Race Week 2.0

Anytime you strap an engine to the dyno or a car to the chassis dyno, there is a part of you that is nervous until it makes the first pull without leaking or hurting anything. Multiply that nervousness by 100 when the engine or car is something you didn’t build and know almost nothing about. That is the scenario with the engine in the barn find Firebird that Finnegan and Newbern are supposed to be racing at Rocky Mountain Race Week 2.0 this week. The engine came out of the Nova after a guy built it with who knows what parts and won’t answer any questions about the build. And the car was drug out of a barn and thrown together in zero time so who knows what is really going on there.

So you can imagine that Finnegan and Newbern had to be a little nervous strapping this bad boy to the chassis dyno for some tuning before going racing. Imagine the thing eating itself alive or something on the car itself not working right, when you are supposed to be taking this thing cross country for a drag and drive event that will assault the senses and test every aspect of the car, engine, and driver.

Here’s the video of the test session. Will it live? I honestly have no clue.
