Gasser Feature Video: Straight Axle Lift-Off! Take A Look At This 800+ HP ’55 Chevy Gasser!

I remember the first time I drove a gasser. It was awesome. I was working at Spectre Performance, and we had been asked to help with tuning this awesome 1955 Chevrolet gasser that had been converted to EFI but with mechanical injection looks. There were some issues, and while it did run it didn’t have all the right components so we had to make some tweaks. We did, and made it run pretty good. It wasn’t going to be confused for a rental car, but the big block made it all worth it. This thing had all the right looks, all the right vibe, and just made me smile. I’ll never forget it. And it isn’t as if I needed another excuse to love gassers like this ’55 Chevy here. Check out the PowerNation video feature on this bad boy and let us know what you think. I think rad is a great way to describe them.

Video Description:

Shane Lile from Sewn Tight Custom Interiors walks us through the eye-poppin’ purple over red paint job (you gotta see it to believe it!), those massive Mickey Thompson tires out back, and what it feels like when this beast launches and picks up the front end. This ’55 is a perfect blend of power and custom craftsmanship!
