Tommy Lee Byrd, the Hot Rod Hoarder, is back at it with another amazing feature video on this cool real deal survivor race car. Stored for more than 50 years, it is back and on display for the world to see. And it isn’t a restoration, but rather the actual car in the condition it has earned over the years. Yes it has been cleaned, but no it has not been painted or restored. I love it.
Check it out below.
Video Description:
I love seeing drag racing survivors, and this ’56 Chevy is a beautiful example. It was stashed away from 1967 to 2020, and now it’s out in the public eye. This car is very authentic to the 1960’s, and the old paint and lettering is my favorite part. Under the hood is a 265ci V8 with Corvette components, high compression pistons, Duntov cam, and lots of vintage speed parts. Check out this quick video of an incredible survivor!
