I grew up during the Pro Street era and have always loved them. Everyone knew that most of them sucked out loud as anything but fairground cruisers, but I didn’t care. Sure it’s way better if they are fast, but there is something so impressive about a big tire car that sits down really low and just gets the blood flowing. This particular blown Pro Street Camaro is not just a show queen though. It’s got a built 540 that puts over 700 horsepower to the tires, and that’s with a huge pulley on the blower that we’re sure means this sucker only makes a couple pounds of boost all in. Slap a smaller pulley on it and fill it full of race gas, E85, or methanol and this beast should really haul ass. Is it a 7 second car? No. But we’d sure like to find out more details and see what it would take to make it one!
