There is nothing cooler than the $10k Drag Shootout, but this year was a completely different animal than last year. By now you have probably heard that three of the four cars were damaged in transport due to a fire, and that we are going to have to come back and do some repairs before we can possibly race them. But that doesn’t take anything away from what we did to get them ready by the end of the build deadline. We killed it thrashing to get four cars built and prepped and ready to go racing. It was fun, but a ton of work, and there wasn’t a single team that wasn’t ready for it to be over on the one hand and scared they wouldn’t finish on the other. This is a cool competition with killer cars, but only one is going to come out on top at South Georgia Motorsports Park for Lights Out. We’re planning to win in our Team Bigun Moonshine Missile, but only time will tell.
