Small Tire Cars To The Front! As you can imagine, the small tire drag racing at Mokan is fun to watch and always full of excitement. Factor in the Outlaw Small Tire Spring Shootout and the Stock Block Shootout and you’ve got a recipe for quick times as well as letting the smoke out. And let the smoke out they did! While most of the cars made it down the track hauling ass, there were a few that let the smoke out of their stock blocks in grand fashion. High 4 and low 5 second 1/8th mile times are fun to watch, especially when someone is pushing stock stuff to the limit. We’ve got some experience on that front and can tell you that having the tune up just right is the key to parts lasting, but no matter how good it is there is always a line that will cost you if you cross it. Some of these guys here found the line and went right over it with zero regard for all the parts that didn’t want to come along for the ride.

The rest battled keeping the tires planted as they tried to push every ounce of power through the small tires onto the surface at Mokan. The crew there did a great job as evidence by some of the performances. Of course that just meant the racers pushed their cars even harder which is totally fine with us.
