The Grand National Roadster Show in Pomona is one of the biggest events to come to the LA County Fairgrounds each and every year. In a town full of killer car events, this one is extra special and draws cars and trucks from all over the world and spectators from far and wide as well. This is a destination event like the March Meet, U.S. Nationals, etc. It’s that big a deal. One of the unique things about this event is the way that it is separated into a bunch of different buildings as well as outside show areas. The buildings are often themed for specific types of vehicles or for special event displays like Bonneville Racers, Tri-Five Chevrolets, or Woodies. But one area that stays the same, year after year, and draws huge crowds, is the very exclusive Suede Palace.

It is very tough to get your car inside the Suede Palace, or your company display. And although it isn’t huge, the area in and around it has some of the coolest rides you’ll ever see. The Suede Palace is all about traditional hot rods, customs, and race cars. No billet. No rat rods. This is one hell of a place and always one of our favorites.
