It’s always a cringe moment when a drag car goes to the sky, but it’s also conflicting because it is so much fun to watch. Like a train wreck. But sometimes when the car comes down from orbit there is all kinds of badness going on. Suspension parts, oil pans, headers, chassis, and more can all be damaged. With any luck that damage isn’t severe enough to keep the car from stopping and not hitting anything. This is not always the case however, and wasn’t for the Yeti Mustang that crashed bad in a race in Oklahoma after a double wheelstand resulted in the radiator trying to fall out of the car. When it did coolant went everywhere and there was no stopping the sliding. Check it out in the great video from 1320 Video below.
