I’m of the mindset that the spritual successor to the musclecar era Oldsmobiles isn’t the G-body Cutlass, but instead the Oldsmobile Delta 88. They are comparable in size to the old A-body, packed the Rocket V8 between the fenderwells in both 307 and 403 displacements, and if you find one in a two-door form with a  slick roof and a floor shifter, you almost start to get a hint of sport with your pillowed seats and generous leg room. Most people don’t share my vision on the subject…they were Caprices with different nose and tail treatments that usually wind up on giant chrome wheels anymore, right?

I beg to differ. This Delta was shipped over to Finland and has grown a spoiler, a pair of flares, and apparently a pair. While the jury is out here on the bumper treatments, overall, this is one mean bingo sled and it’s making a great case for itself.  The black and gold paint is the perfect choice. The engine is appropriately snotty, and that little Toyota ute doesn’t stand a chance.

Four doors, at least four hundred cubes, and two tire stripes half a block long. Perfect for a B-body Olds.
