Day 4 1320Video Highlights, Including Our 11.53 Pass, From Rocky Mountain Race Week

We’re a little biased, because Daphne’s career best 11.53 is a major highlight in this video, but it certain is a good one as multiple drivers set their best times so far on Rocky Mountain Race Week. The heat was insane in Great Bend, but the density altitude was still better than any track we’d been too so far and that meant drivers were turning it up like we were. Going into Kearney Nebraska for Friday’s final race, everyone knows they can kill it to try and get the win since they can pack up and trailer home after racing concludes. Everyone but us that is. We drove Ethyl, Daphne’s Daily Driven 1966 Bel Air Station Wagon more than 1400 miles to Kearney to start Rocky Mountain Race Week.

It will be nearly 5000 miles of driving and drag racing before we reach home in SoCal in a few days. We’re still going for another career best today though as we aim for a “getting kicked out” 11.4. We’ll see.

Check out the great video from Kyle and the crew at 1320Video, they do a killer job covering these events. Make sure you Subscribe to their channel on YouTube and follow them on Facebook for all the good stuff.

Great job of showing all the times of BOTH cars. It’s really a help. Congrats on getting the long roof down the track so fast.!

We were parked on the south side of the Pits towards the ET booth. We heard her screaming with Joy before we saw her on the return road.Waited 15 minutes before I asked her WTH was going on.She was still grinning ear to ear.Great job SWC.
