Throttle Body Dyno Fun: Check Out The Differences Between A 90mm LS Drive By Wire Vs A Holley 105mm Throttle Body

It is always interesting to us when we get to see some back to back dyno comparisons of different parts. That’s doubly true when the parts are factory vs aftermarket. In this case we are talking about a 90mm factory drive by wire LS throttle body and a 105mm Holley throttle body. They are used on different intake manifolds and pulled to see what the power gains and output are. As you’ll see, there are benefits here and hey, any time we can get more air into an engine the possibilities of burning more fuel exist so when we can do that, you KNOW what the result is. More power!

Check out the video below and see the parts, the engines, and the results achieved by the crew at Westech on the dyno. Outside of the obvious power situation there are plenty of benefits to the Holley throttle body and people have been using them for years and years with reliable operation on the street, strip, road course, and off road.
