Drag Action Coverage: The Oklahoma Nostalgia Nationals At Thunder Valley Raceway – Noble, Oklahoma

Drag Action Coverage: The Oklahoma Nostalgia Nationals At Thunder Valley Raceway – Noble, Oklahoma

(Photos by Bad Brad’s Speed Shots) – It is pretty interesting when you consider the multiple personalities that different drag strips have. We say that in the most positive way possible, mind you. Thunder Valley Raceway in Noble, Oklahoma is one of those tracks. Here you are going to see the joint loaded with killer nostalgia cars but throughout the year this is a place that is a central hub for grudge racing, no-prep racing, and small tire stuff as well. We’ve been there for Hot Rod Drag Week, and we’re sure that they do stuff we don’t even know about as well. That’s what makes  a successful drag strip.

Our man Bad Brad was on the scene with his picture taking machine and the result is that we get a great look in on the event. Tons of slingshots, altereds, and other old school iron packed Thunder Valley and Brad reports that well the place was hot, everyone had a blast. His photos really tell the story below and that story is a fun looking one! We’ve never driven a slingshot dragster before and every time we see event coverage like this we want to!

    Brad,
Great pictures! You did an amazing job and really captured some great angles of the 1940 Ford Altered on the track! Love it!
