(Photos by Benoit Pigeon) – Last week we showed you some great Benoit Pigeon photos from Shadyside Dragway and their Carolina Xtreme Pro Mod event. As it turns out there were a ton of cars on the properly supporting the headlining act which was the pro mod show. Benoit took photos of the vehicles that caught his eye both on and off the track and boy did he find some good stuff. Sure the Nova in mid-wheelie is cool but wait until you see some of the classic roadsters and how awesome they look with their rear quarters all full of rubber.

One of the reasons we love the drags is because of the diverse nature of the cars. While we all have our favorites you go to the event with the expectation that you’ll see something that you have never seen before, these photos even take that thought to the next level.
