We never like seeing a driver crash their car, but we love it when we see them walk away. We also like taking a look at what happened in an effort to keep it from happening again. There is a lot to learn from other people’s experiences and that means safer and better race cars all the time. Jason Grima went for a wild ride in St. Louis, but luckily he was able to get out of this fiery crash on his own.

During the fourth round of eliminations at the NHRA Midwest Nationals in St. Louis, driver Jason Grima’s Competition Eliminator car made contact with the wall before flipping and catching fire. The car then came to a stop on the race track. Grima exited the car under his own power.
