We’ve been sharing Martin Lundqvist Racing Fabrication videos here on BANGshift for the past few months as they are putting together a new drag and drive machine for Sweden’s Street Week and beyond. It’s being dubbed project 508, as his current Street Week winning car is the 507 Coupe. But what does it take for a veteran like Martin to get the car ready, inspected for public roads, and loaded up to hit the road and race? We were on hand at his race shop just days before Street Week Sweden 2026 kicked off and if his calm demeanor then is any indication, we think he’s got it figured out.
