As the year winds down with the mercury in the thermometer, we start to approach the point where shows are done for the year, the final races are happening, and everybody starts to bed in for the upcoming winter. Whether you’ve got work to do in the shop this year or you just take a few months off to focus on family and holidays, we all can agree that we start looking forward to next year’s season one day after the current year’s season ends. This especially rings true for traveling events like Drag Week, Rocky Mountain Race Week, Power Tour, and most others. Outside of the LeMons Rally events, what else is going to have you driving in the cold, wet, and sloppy conditions? Certainly not anything in the States…unless you live in the desert Southwest, in which case we can only shoot you that look. You know which one.

Down Under, however, our Australian brethren are gearing up for Street Machine’s Drag Challenge, their take on the Drag Week formula. From November 11-16, 2018, street-legal Aussie machines will be roaming Victoria, from Calder Park to Mildura, covering just about 700 miles of travel path on the straightest route.
