More Hot Action Photos From The NHRA Sonoma Nationals: Flames, Wheelstands, Burnouts, And More!

(Photos by Eric Myers) We told you we’d have more photos from the NHRA Sonoma Nationals, and we weren’t kidding. We’ve got action photos of all kinds, from a bunch of different classes, so you aren’t going to just be looking at Top Fuel cars or Super Gas. The variety is great and we’re happy to share them with you, so click on any photo in the gallery below and then roll through them like a slide show. It’s the best way to see our photos and get the most out of them. If you missed our first gallery, click the link below to check that one out too!

Thanks to our pal Eric Myers, we’ve got cool photos from the NHRA Sonoma Nationals in California to share with you. This iconic California dragstrip and motorsports facility has a history that is as storied as any you will find and it’s a truly different and special facility. With the ocean so close and sea-level conditions or better the norm, this is one fast dragstrip and records have fallen here for decades. It’s also located in the Napa Valley, known for spectacular views, wineries, restaurants, and drives. This is a location unlike any other the NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series will see each year.

It also happens to be part of the famed Western Swing, a part of the season where racers run at all west coast tracks one right after the other, with everyone hoping for a “sweep” of the swing.

Thanks to Eric Myers who is on-site checking out the action, shooting photos, and enjoying the great conditions, because without him we’d have no event photos to share with all of you. We’ll have Wes Allison on hand in Pomona for that part of the Western Swing as well, so rest assured you’ll have lots of NHRA Drag Racing photos coverage.
