Raising Hell In The Fields: Midwest Farm Field Road Cash Days!

Raising Hell In The Fields: Midwest Farm Field Road Cash Days!

Can you count how many drag tracks are dead and done for 2020? You would think that the news would be calming down on that front, but no. Events getting cancelled or “postponed”, tracks facing the wrath of local and state governments, local busybodies who are bent on punishing anybody who aren’t doing what they perceive as the “right thing”…it is not a good time to be a racer. Or is it? With tracks being a questionable affair and scrutiny everywhere, maybe the best answer lies in finding somewhere out of the way. Nothing big…just a good two-lane with some open space to dive off into in case things get a little hairy, a few people who know what they are doing running the show and just a few racers who are skilled with that they bring to the table.

Now, we’re pretty sure that Mexico doesn’t have a lot of corn and wheat fields. Maybe we’re wrong about that. But a quiet farm road in the middle of nowhere, with plenty of room, wheat fields on both sides in case shit goes bad, and best of all, the blessing of the locals to host the event…does it get any better? Yeah, it does. For everyone who loves to yelp about being on the streets, it doesn’t get any better than some random farm road. Traction? Ha. Hope you can dial the traction back down to a useable level…or have been studying Aussie powerskids.
