A Culture of Competition, Innovation, and Winning: Steve Matusek Talks About Aeromotive’s Success

There are certain people in any industry that are easy to look up to. They are successful in their business, they are successful outside of it, and they take the time to lend a hand, an ear, or advice when it is needed. For us, Steve Matusek is one of those guys. Founding Aeromotive 25 years ago and constantly leading the charge for innovation, advancement, and performance gains from his products, Matusek is a person that can and should be listened to when he talks about what has made his company successful.

Certainly a load of great employees carry the load of manufacturing the products that fuel everything rom nostalgia nitro burning funny cars to street machines at your local car show, but great companies are that way from the top own and the bottom all the way up. In the video below, Matusek talks about what sets Aeromotive apart from the competition in this market and why they have continued to thrive for a quarter century. As SEMA’s 2018 Manufacturer of the Year, basically the highest honor that can be bestowed on a company in this industry, they walk the walk as well as talking the talk.

On August 1 the company will have its yearly open house and car show. Be there, all the details are below. Right below all that good stuff is the video we told you about with Matusek talking about the company that’s been his life’s work since 1994.

LENEXA, KANSAS — In 1994, Steve Matusek, the son of immigrants from Eastern Europe, started Aeromotive, Inc on the strength of his vision, dedication to excellence and a commitment to developing the pinnacle of performance products. A quarter-century later, the company he founded has become an all-American success story worth celebrating—and that’s the plan when Aeromotive hosts its 25th anniversary celebration.

Join Steve and the rest of the Aeromotive crew for a special open-house event Thursday, Aug. 1st, from 4-8 p.m. at the Aeromotive Inc. HQ, located at 7805 Barton St. in Lenexa, Kansas.

“This isn’t just a celebration of Aeromotive, but a huge thank-you to the good people who have supported us along the way,” Matusek said. “No one gets this far alone, so we’re inviting our friends and community partners to join in the celebration.
Attendees will enjoy appearances from famous racers and their cars (show up to find out who) and can shop the wares of local parts distributors, meet firefighters and policemen, and enjoy performances by local musician, Gary Lincoln. Aeromotive will also host tours of their facility.

What’s more, Aeromotive’s 25th anniversary event will feature t-shirt sales and a silent auction to benefit Parenting Children with Special Needs Inc., a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life of local families who have a child with challenges that are associated with a medical diagnosis.
