The 2019 Legends of Nitro calendars are put together by Stith Printing and come in two flavors: Nitro Funny Cars and Fuel Altereds. Both calendars pay tribute to two legends of the sport that have passed on: for the Funny Car issue, Steve Plueger and for the Fuel Altered issue, Dale Emery. Both men passed on in 2018 after lifetimes of racing memories, achievements and awards. The photography used in each calendar comes from events in the NHRA Heritage Series and features a selected group of photographers whose work is selected for the calendars.
