Yes, we’re talking about Steve Fast soaring The Shadow at last year’s race.
There were a million camera angles of this crash but the one that is most compelling to us is the drone footage that 1320Video captured. Why? We explain below.

The internet has been buzzing since the moment Stevie Jackson and The Shadow took flight at No Mercy 7 last weekend. The videos from all angles around the track are amazing but none of them hold a candle to the drone footage that 1320Video captured of what will go down as a historically amazing wreck. Jackson walked away from this mess, actually ran away from it if you have seen that part of the video. It is one thing to see a car fly off the ground from behind or even from beside it but it is completely another to see it as if you were a gull cruising by the track a the moment of lift off.
The best thing that this video does is give proper perspective as to the distance that Jackson flew once the car launched off the ground. It was not a quick up and down deal, the Mustang just hangs there with a kind of grace until it comes down and violently begins to fly apart and ultimately skid on its roof to a stop.
