It’s become almost funny to see a Ford engine in a Ford engine compartment if that car is going down a dragstrip and isn’t a fullsize car. It feels like the norm for anyone with a Fox Body, Maverick, Pinto, or otherwise to put an LS Engine in it to go fast, especially if they are going to be running a turbo combo. But not this Maverick! The hell with the new trends, this bad boy is going down swinging for the fences and that means big power and low ETs thanks to a single turbo mounted to the front of this cool Small Block Ford.

It measures 427 inches, and either runs on Ethanol or Methanol since it has no intercooler and it is running deep in the 4’s in the 1/8th mile. Other than that, we don’t know much about it because we’re not sure they would tell us even if someone asked. But we do know it makes real steam and is a riot to watch trying to pick the front wheels off the ground. This thing makes me want to pit it against Beer Money to see who could take home the win on a No Prep race track. I love this thing and it hauls ass, that is for sure.
