2019 Kneeland Concours Photo Coverage: Muscle Car Era Classics On The Field Of Show

(Words and photos by Doug Gregory) – Mostly classic American muscle in this chapter of the Concours coverage.  You won’t find labels on the photos explaining what you’re looking at from here on out.  Frequent visitors of this site will have no problem with identifying these and if you just happened by and can’t recognize most of them, you’re obviously lost.

A couple of newer GT350 Mustangs were in attendance and even if you aren’t a fan you’d have to admit these things sound great.  The cream-colored Bronco is super nice and even sports a full cage.  It’d be dreaming to think the new one rolling out will be anything this good.  The ’73 LeMans GTO is something most don’t see often as it was only a one year run using this body style.  The last GTO of that era was based on the Ventura.

This ’62 Oldsmobile Starfire is a perfect example of why these cars are so great.  Well into the jet-age styling this has brushed side trim on the fuselage-styled side panels and a very modern-looking, possibly even futuristic interior.

Stay tuned for one more collection of photos from the Keeneland Concours.
