Well this is one of the most insane videos we have ever seen and none of it is any good. Shot at the hardscrabble Anderson Speedway in Indiana during a Figure 8 race, it shows two guys throwing the most monstrous adult temper tantrum we have ever seen. Whether this started at the beginning of a race or on a re-start we don’t know but as the field rounds the corner for the straight two guys get tangled and as is always the case in these situations, it doesn’t work out for either guy.
Both cars pull off to the side of the track and sit there momentarily. The more “finished” looking car, the #33 is facing the crowd. The second driver fires his car up, drives up to the guy who he thinks wronged him, circles the thing like a shark and then lines up and hammers the gas. What happens next will live in redneck lore forever. The second car drives right up onto the nose of the #33 like a ramp! With the cars now on top of each other, things get bad…as if they were not already.
The driver of the 33 climbs out, removes his helmet and starts hammering blows onto the driver of the car that sat on top of his. Amazingly, track workers stand back and let this guy just pound on the dude in the second car like hockey referees during an NHL game. It takes a minute or two for a cop to scamper down onto the track and he wastes no time TASING THE GUY! Hell, why not, right?
Soon the cuffs are on and that guy is face first on the ground. The driver of the second car is removed, cuffed, and driven off.
This is straight out of the movies…of which I have watched one about Anderson Speedway. Not to say I wasn’t surprised to see where this happened but I wasn’t surprised to see where this happened.

Both of these racers get in to it with each other a lot. The 33 had hit the black car and caused a caution. This was the re start right after. The driver of the black car has been known to have a bit of a temper. I actually went to school with him and have known him for more than 30 years. This is a bit extreme but still a mostly normal thing at Anderson Speedway.
I’m sold? Looks like a trip to Anderson Speedway for me if this is normal.

I’ve been there many times, it’s Redneck Heaven. You never know what could happen, them Figure 8 cats are a breed apart. The dude sure chilled when that taser hit him. “Cuff me, arrest me, just don’t hurt me anymore, please ! ! !”

Update…. driver of black car Jeff Swinford permanently banned from this track. Shawn Cullen driver of the 33 banned 2 races. Track owner would not have done anything if it hadn’t made the national news. Anf as for the Trump comment this has been like this at this track for 50 years. Has nothing to do with who is president
