Road Tour Episode 5: Screw 1,500 Miles, They Went 2,400 In These Bad Ass Hot Rods, Including This Rad Mercury Racing Powered ’67 Camaro

Episode 5 of the Road Tour is pretty darn cool! When you get to run a Mercury Racing powered boat, that makes 3,100 horsepower, flat out next to a Mercury Racing powered 1967 Camaro, it makes for good stories and great footage. I’m a first gen Camaro owner, and I love these cars. Seeing this one hauling ass next to the boat in Florida is a pretty cool treat. If you missed the first four episodes of the series, then you’ve missed out on a lot and will have to click the link below so you can catch up. Suffice it to say, cruising this group of hot rods down the east coast, while experiencing some pretty cool sites, is special. When you consider that their 1,500 mile road trip actually turned out to be a 2,400 mile road trip, it is even more impressive. I like hot rods and muscle cars that get driven and these ones certainly did.

Each episode has highlighted a car or two, along with the adventures all these guys got to go on during the trip. There have been some really fun things it looks like, but this one with the boat definitely would have been near the top of my list. This boat is bad to the bone and capable of going way over 100 mph. That’s hauling ass on the water.
