The Snowblind 1967 Camaro Is Pro Touring Greatness You Can Buy

The first time we saw the Snowblind 1967 Camaro, which was built by the gang over at East Bay Muscle Cars, we were impressed as hell. There isn’t anything untouched on this car, and some touches are so subtle as to make you think there is actually more to it! Under the hood this car is spectacular and we love the use of space, layout, and the finish. And it’s not just for show! We first saw it running around the track in Fontana at Optima’s Search for the Ultimate Street Car. While the car was stunning, they weren’t holding anything back and were putting it through it’s paces hoping to get the invite to Vegas for OUSCI.

Cars like this are really hard for a lot of people to grasp. The hours of design, labor, and fabrication that go into building something like this are too numerous to believe. After all, not everything works out the way you think it will. And nothing happens fast. You can’t build something like this without taking time, spending money, and demanding perfection. And you can’t apologize for your vision either. Something this extreme means that someone is going to hate it. And that’s okay. We don’t of course. This car still speaks to us, even though we are Camaro purists, because it has not lost it’s identity.

Our favorite thing has to be the twin turbo LS though. Not just because it’s a twin turbo LS engine though. What we love is the fact that they worked so hard to make the engine compartment look at symmetrical as humanly possible. And it worked. So much so, that the first time I spoke to them about this car I asked if the turbos were Nelson Racing Engines symmetrical turbos. They are not. They are just that good.

There are TONS of photos, info, and documentation on the build of this car and serious buyers can expect to see it all. We never said it would be cheap though! You can buy a house in most parts of the country for the same amount as this car will cost you, or less. But it sure is cool.

Check it out.

Here is the info from the sellers:

Under its carbon fiber hood lies the monstrous Chevrolet LS3 V8 complimented with twin turbochargers — as if it wasn’t already badass enough. Other mods under the hood include custom EBMC stainless steel headers, an EBMC induction system and “water to air” intercoolers.
Paired with the LS3 is a T56 Magnum transmission that includes a dual disc clutch and an Inland Empire Driveline aluminum driveshaft. All that power reaches the ground through black and red trimmed Rushforth wheels wrapped in Nitto tires. Wheels are staggered with 18×10 in the front and 19×12 in back.
Wilwood, 14 inch slotted and vented brake rotors (six-piston fronts and four-piston rears) in the front and rear stop this big boy quickly.
Inside, East Bay Muscle Cars completely scrapped the 1967 Camaro’s original interior. This baby is all modern with digital VHX gauges, LED lighting, a custom built center console and leather wrapped Corbeau seats with microsuade seat belt harnesses. And don’t think this 1967 Camaro just sits in a garage all day; it races in the Ultimate Street Car Association, as well.
