Mike Maier is a bad ass. Bad ass driver, bad ass car builder, bad ass family man. Bad ass. And we’re lucky enough to have hung out with him all over the country, at all kinds of events. But when we heard that he had been over to see the Hoonigan boys, who are some of our favorite Long Beach residents, we knew it had to be a good time and we were right.
Check out Mike, in wife Brianne’s 1966 Mustang, using nearly 9,000 rpm of Roush Racing small-block Ford to destroy the rear Falkens in a fun series of donuts. Normally Mike is trying to be fast, and just a little sideways, on road course, autocrosses, and gymkhana tracks. He is after all a multi-time SCCA National Champion.
