Crossovers That Don’t Suck: Yes, They Exist and Here Are Three Options For You To Shop!

Crossovers That Don’t Suck: Yes, They Exist and Here Are Three Options For You To Shop!

(By Tom Lohnes) – Some of the most boring, cookie-cutter vehicles in this world are crossovers. With plenty of practicality, it is easy to see why crossovers sell as well as they do. But what if you don’t want a boring crossover? Well, you can have these beautiful machines for under $50,000(reliability not included).

Starting off, we have the ever-beautiful Alfa Romeo Stelvio. With turbo-4 power, AWD, and a $43,000 starting price, the Stelvio is a great pick to stand out from the crowd. With 280 horsepower going to all 4 wheels, the Stelvio can rocket itself from 0-60 in 5.4 seconds. The Stelvio might not serve you for too long, but when it does, you will surely be getting all sorts of looks.

For the next one, we will be downsizing a little, to the new 2021 MINI Countryman. Starting at $41,380, the John Cooper Works ALL4 Countryman is loaded to the brim, with your choice of a 6-speed manual or 8-speed automatic. With 228 horsepower coming out of a BMW Turbo 4, the JCW Countryman has plenty of guts. Also, it’s available in British Racing Green, so that’s a bonus.

Staying in the UK for this one, the Jaguar F-pace starts at $45,200 and has 250 horsepower, a 6.6 second 0-60 time, and a nicely upholstered interior. The F-pace is based off of the Range Rover Velar, so it rides like a rover at a fraction of the price.

Out of these three, what would you pick? For me, it would be a Genesis G80 Ultimate, but that is not relevant here due to it being a crossover comparison.

a countryman is the size of a golf, its just looks bloated. GLA250 4matic, or GLB, or Q3 far better
