We’re big fans of the Car Bros YouTube channel around here and when they release a new video we are always excited to see it. This time they have released Gympkhana, their funny take on the modern viral automotive action video. Of course Ken Block has perfected the genre and seemingly taken it to its natural end but other people are forever trying to top the king. Remember the idiots that did this type of stuff in an off road racer with no permits or anything recently? Yeah, one of them went to jail. These guys decided to show the rest of the world how it is done.
The pieces of the formula are pretty clear. You need a hot car. They achieved this by getting their hands on an ancient Honda that is the shape of a breadbox. The second thing is that you need some killer sound. Again, they crushed this by dubbing in virtually every awesome engine sound ever recorded and they are actually edited in to synch with the video. Genius! Lastly you need sweet stunts that will blow the minds of the general pubic. You’ll see them when you watch the video. We don’t want to give anything away.
Like previous Car Bros videos, the devil is in the details. We had to watch it a couple times to get them all. This is an awesome tongue in cheek look at the modern automotive internet trends and we think it is very well done.

Right then, Car Bros – put in an engine that really matches the sound track and make another video. Also you should have the world’s first stationary drag race with two off those weird walking frame doohickeys complete with a Pro Mod soundtrack and loads of smoke.
Sheer lunacy at its best and I’m going to check out a few more of their excellent videos.
I’m sure that all the Honda fanboiz with their no-muffler fart can exhausts think that their rides sound just like that IRL.
