The Insane Level 5 Motorsports Operation Is Headed To Auction – Lots Of Cars And Parts

Scott Tucker was one of the most successful privateer American sports cars racers ever. The guy won races like Daytona, he made the podium at LeMans one year, and he raced a vast array of awesome equipment all over the world. Tucker made an insane amount of money in the lending business and that was funding one of the most lavish private racing operations the country had ever seen until the walls caved in and the indictments started rolling. Tucker is now in big legal trouble with the Feds and as a consequence of that, his entire racing operation or what’s left of it will be sold at Auctions America next month.

Realize that the things you see in the listing (which you can get to by clicking on the Lola below) are what’s left of the team as we imagine Tucker was able to move some of the cars before the heat really closed in around him. The auction estimates seem comically low, especially the one for the Lola which is like $10-15k. There are interior parts on that car worth that much! Granted it is a small audience that wants this stuff but there are people who are willing to pay.

The Ferrari race cars seem like they’d bring more than the average bear at an event like this. There are also assorted tools and equipment which will be sold. Effectively every asset of the race team is up for grabs at no reserve. As Tucker’s name is not really seen with any of this stuff we’re wondering if the auctions are being executed by the Feds or what.

At this point, Tucker has been indicted and arrested for various criminal violations under RICO and TILA statutes for acts related to his involvement in a number of payday lending operations.

  1. Chevy Hatin' Mad Geordie

Put that awesome black monster on the street – at that prices its cheaper than a valve cap off a Lambo!

  2. Matt Cramer

They have a spare Ferrari race seat up for the auction. I’m seriously planning on bidding on it to see if I can get the most pretentious driver’s seat swap ever for my Buick.
