Well, the obvious brand to choose here is Lancia, but they’ve resorted to making small euro-market econoboxes aimed towards low-income buyers. Other companies, however, have been keeping the Italian brand notable, and Kimera is the latest with their EV038.

Based on the 037, possibly the most beautiful rally car ever made, Kimera took this and made some tasteful bodywork changes, such as wider fenders and more modern looking lights front and back. The powertrain is possibly the most changed aspect of this car, boasting the same 2.1-liter Inline-4, this time with a turbocharger capable of making a mental 505 horsepower. Of course, the EV038 still uses a proper manual transmission and RWD, exactly what you want in your 2,100-lb, 505-hp road missile.

So, would you purchase this beautiful beast if you had the funds? I sure would, just to look at it, with the occasional drive sprinkled in there. Of course, these modifications don’t come cheap as this car is estimated to carry a potential price tag north of $500,000. Where else are you going to get one?
