Morning Symphony: A Spread Of Rally Cars Playing In Anger! From The Seventies Through Today, Hear Them Run!

Tiny, angry engines, hissing turbocharger waste gates, attention-grabbing pops and bangs from the anti-lag system, flames shooting out of the exhaust…rally racing is really an underrated spectacle in the United States. Why do we like it so much? The cars, of course! Rally racing bred some of the most interesting and exciting combinations out there, from lightweight Ford Escorts that could be pitched sideways to the likes of the turbocharged and supercharged Lancias of the Group B era. For a time, it seemed like there wasn’t a rule book at all: two-wheel-drive rally cars that were purpose-built gave way to four-wheel-drive monsters, power levels went through the roof and even today, after the legacy of the Group B class was surpassed by Group A and WRC cars, the cars are wickedly quick, nimble, and capable of feats that would stun a supercar. YouTuber “19Bozzy92” captures the sound and spirit of these wicked wheels like none other and for this footage, he compiled a nice collection of rally cars getting down. You’ll see an Opel Ascona GT/E, BMWs, Peugots, Renaults, Fords, Toyotas, and just about every Lancia raced in anger! From the Seventies through today, hit play and enjoy your day!
