Parade Lap? Hell No – Ride In This Insane Caterham As It Assaults The Hill At The Goodwood Festival Of Speed

One of the reasons I am deadly obsessed with getting out to the Goodwood Festival of Speed someday is because people take this thing seriously. This is not about just making some slow laps and waving to the masses, this is about showing up and hauling ass up the hill and laying down the best number possible. Want proof? This ride along video is as good as you are ever going to get. You are about to take a ride in this insane Caterham as it assaults the hill at the Goodwood Festival of Speed and if this does not get you moving on a Friday morning, seek medical help.

The Caterham is an interesting case because they have been made by like 20 different companies with like 15,000 different engine combos. If we had to take a wild guess here we’d say that this one was powered by a Japanese four banger making on the order of 200-300hp. The cars weight absolutely nothing so when you apply that much power and put it in the hand of someone who knows what they are doing, you get the following result.

We have no specs on the car and no information on the driver. The only thing we can say is that the dude can wheel and that he nearly dipped a toe over the line once or twice during this one. He tapped danced the car at full boogie all the way up the hill and man is this fun to watch!
