(Photos by Wes Allison) – With the world opening up at a pretty rapid pace these days, perhaps the name of the SoCal Quarantine Cruise series will change but we hope the participation and fun do not. As of about mid-June California will be rocking and rolling at basically 100% everywhere. That means swap meets, car shows, and “regular” stuff should once again be happening. Hell, the NHRA will be running their Winternationals in Pomona in July with nighttime qualifying as a pretty large “welcome back” party to put the cherry on top.

As you will see, no matter what you want to call this event, it is great. All kinds of cars and trucks just out having fun. We love the fact that you can see a Porsche 356 and then some killer classic trucks done in a late model pro touring style and then the bruiser of a Corvette we have chosen as the lead photo. With things like the RPM Act back in Congress, with bills being passed in places like North Carolina and Texas to help race tracks get back on their feet, events like this are great shows of passion and commitment from the hot rodding community that we need to keep up!
