(Photo by Ford Motor Company) – Here it is, the 2017 Ford F-Series Super Duty. This is Ford’s latest entry in an ever escalating battle between it, the GM brands, and the Ram brand, to lure buyers in and seduce the public with big power, brawny looks, and more luxurious cabs than the industry has seen before. We’d mention the price but you know that baby is going to carry a premium ticket so we’ll cover that once the information is released.
These are the first photos released by Ford of the truck and they were under a so-called industry “embargo” which we followed (others likely did not) and released them after the midnight “go” time. We really delayed and launched them at 12:01 but that is neither here nor there. The numbers and specifics will be coming soon (as will our shot and spending some time behind the wheel hopefully) but for now, here’s the Ford note sheet on the launch of this important piece of its truck lineup.
Oh, and if you want to cut to the chase, it DOES have an all aluminum body.
