With the snow falling almost as fast as the temperature in much of the country right now, I am not the only one thinking now would be a great time to own a 4-wheel drive rig of some kind. What is funny is that fact that I’ve been thinking about lifted trucks again lately, after not owning one for several years. The last one was a 2-wheel drive, but lifted, 3/4 ton Suburban but before that my lifted truck was a big linked OBS short bed that would climb anything. I loved it and hated it, depending on the time of year. But one thing it did great was go anywhere in the snow.
This bad ass 1988 4×4 Suburban is fully loaded, has less than 45,000 original miles, and has had a ton of updates done. New paint, new suspension, new stereo, new headliner, and everything done right. This is the one you want to have if you want one lifted and looking great. Don’t get me wrong, if I owned it I would at some point add one tons front and rear and just a tad more tire, but other than that it is shear perfection. I love this thing and everyone else on the road would too.
We’re in a winter wonderland right now and this one would put a smile on my face while driving through the snow, and most days even when it isn’t cold.

It looks ridiculous, definitely needs more wheel and tire. Other than that it’s pretty sweet and the price isn’t unreasonable, depending on how negotiable it is. Nothing I’d be into, but I certainly get it.
