King of the Hammers is a race. It’s not just for fun. And while the teams do start in pairs with a bit of buffer in between each pair, that goes right out the window when they start catching each shortly after the first few corners. And passing doesn’t just happen out on the flat areas of the desert. No, they often happen in the middle of some rock trail and sometimes involve running over each other to get out in front of the next guy. Hell, team mates have driven over the bottoms of their flipped over team mates before! Yeah, it’s hard core.
