Half Ass Kustoms 1951 Ford Pickup Project: Building Body Mounts On S10 Chassis For The 1951 Ford F1

Half Ass Kustoms 1951 Ford Pickup Project: Building Body Mounts On S10 Chassis For The 1951 Ford F1

Here is Part 4 of the 1951 Ford Project. This one gets a bunch done to make sure the body can mount to this now shortened S10 chassis. As usual Brent has his own way of making things happen and we’re sure these suckers will last forever. Check it out.

Brent at Half Ass Kustoms just finished up a cool 1937 Ford Pickup project and is jumping right into a new project as well. This one also happens to be a Ford, but it’s going to be quite a bit different than the previous one. This here is going to be LS swapped, but not just by stuffing one between the frame rails of this 1951 Ford truck. Nope, this time he’s not only doing an LS Swap but also a chassis swap! But what chassis is going to donate itself to the cause?

You’ll have to watch the video like the rest of us to find out, but rest assured this is going to be a cool project. If you are looking to see an ultra high end project going together, you are in the wrong place. But if you want to see a guy put a truck together from top to bottom, using simple techniques and incredible work ethic, then this is the build for you. Brent is a machine, and by coming out to work on his projects nearly every night of the week, he gets a lot done in a very short period of time compared to most of us.

Check it out, be inspired, and let us know what you think of this new Half Ass Kustoms project.

Part 4 Video Description:

I think we get a lot done in this video, first we pull all the fuel/brake lines and then shorten the S10 frame to fit the 51 Ford F1. After that we dissemble the Ford and mock it up on the newly shortened S10 chassis.
