Half Ass Kustoms 1951 Ford Pickup Project: Finishing The Pedals, Cooling System, And Bed Floor Before Pinstriping And The Big Reveal.

The 1951 Ford F1 build has been a fun one to watch, and this video has a lot going on, with multiple parts going in and getting figured out. This episode not only has the final components being installed, but also shows the big reveal to the lady who’s being given this truck by her husband. It’s a fun reveal and she’s thrilled as you would expect.

Brent at Half Ass Kustoms just finished up a cool 1937 Ford Pickup project and is jumping right into a new project as well. This one also happens to be a Ford, but it’s going to be quite a bit different than the previous one. This here is going to be LS swapped, but not just by stuffing one between the frame rails of this 1951 Ford truck. Nope, this time he’s not only doing an LS Swap but also a chassis swap! But what chassis is going to donate itself to the cause?

You’ll have to watch the video like the rest of us to find out, but rest assured this is going to be a cool project. If you are looking to see an ultra high-end project going together, you are in the wrong place. But if you want to see a guy put a truck together from top to bottom, using simple techniques and incredible work ethic, then this is the build for you. Brent is a machine, and by coming out to work on his projects nearly every night of the week, he gets a lot done in a very short period of time compared to most of us.

Check it out, be inspired, and let us know what you think of this new Half Ass Kustoms project.

Video Description:

In this video, we start off with Ian from Vonknobbkustompaint stripping the pickup and moving on to mounting the trans and radiator fan. Then finally get out the gas pedal and lengthen the brake pedal and then move on to building the exhaust system and get the front bumper on finally. We then do our first burnout, test fit a sun visor, and install the cab insulation. Then we get the wood floor installed in the pickup along with some linseed oil shine before taking for a drive. We then setup the truck and my friend surprises his wife with the big reveal.
